OMG look, my first ever Subeta art :o

And I'm now officially hooked.... the Subeta pets seem to be inspiring me tons more than my Neopets at the moment... plus Neopets doesn't let you take commissions -giggle-

Aerie is actually a word for a den up high on a cliff. While I can see your point, I think we have to consider that Neopets ripped off the word "Aerie" for "Eyrie" (which are pronounced the same or very simliarly) in the first place..

I don't really see Subeta as a "ripoff"... pet sites existed before Neopets ever did, Neopets is just the biggest, most well-known and most successful one. Subeta is actually quite different than Neopets if you look into it... vastly different items, different pets, and the site pretty much functions in a completely different way. xD Plus it's aimed at an older demographic with items like bras, panties, etc floating around.

And you won't get frozen unless you ACTUALLY do something wrong. Imagine that. :o
